I have a quiet old metal shed, and like to replace it with a new model (wood + vinyl), but the problem is that, this metal shed is not only connect by metal nail, but some place, it use some kind of metal adhesive, which bond very strong.
My question is that what kind of stuff I should buy to dissolve the metal adhesive, and if not such thing, what I can do, may be just cut it?
Thanks.

I am having a yard sale May 20th. I have tables already, and a couple clothes racks (I have a TON of clothes, mens, ladies, kids).
I also have books, dishes, stereos, some furniture, a tv, a microwave, toaster oven, tons of beauty products ( i got a box of 30 hair dyes for $5 a whle back, would $3 each be okay to ask?)...
I am okay with pricing items, but would like some tips on how to make to most out of my yard sale. I only want to do it for one day, because I'm pregnant. I am only trying to make enough $ to get some things for the babys room, and I am thinking I am going to donate all the yard sale leftovers to a local womens shelter.
What can I do to make the yard sale awesome? I live a block off a major highway in "cottage country" in Ontario Canada, so I can post highway signs... but we dont have a local paper, so how can I advertise? Should I also sell bottled water, anything like that?
I have asked several neighbors to join in the sale, so it might be a street sale...

I noticed when I moved into this apartment (2004),that there were cracks in the wall. But recently they have become more apparent. They are mostly on the walls but there are a few on the ceiling as well.I have also noticed that they must have been patched up as I see marks where plaster has been applied that I did not notice when I moved in.
I am more concerned with the safety aspect(like is the building going to come tumbling down and we are all gonna die),more than I am about the aesthetic.Has anyone come across something like this?

Our yard is about 1700 square feet and I want to say that about 40% of it is weeds and we also have alot of spots were there is nothing growing.. Also in the backyard when you water the lawn the water seems to just bead off. So I was told to aerate the lawn...Will this really help or is there something else that I can do to help with the lawn. Thanks in advance.

I bought a really nice LP Gas grill from Boscovs 4 years ago - it was one of the 1st with electronic ignition to light the burners and it was around $275. The grill was only used like 15 times a summer for those 4 years... so, really, not much use at all - certainly not "heavy" useage. When I went to fire it up the other day, the electronic ignitor was broken... made no clicking sounds at all - I tried the battery, but that was not it... Also, one of the 2 burners had rusted out and a large single flame was coming out of it - instead of nice little flames around the perimeter... plus the food grates were all rusted out and falling apart... and I keep this grill covered ALL THE TIME!!! Don't know why it would fall apart after such a short time. I'm buying a new one today from Wal*Mart and I'm going to get a cheap Uniflame for $138 - because if I have to replace it so often, why should I spend more??? Any ideas?

I just planted a a rose garden in zone 5 just north of Philadelphia and I was wondering what the best companion plants for roses in this zone would be. They can be annuals or perennials. Thanks in advance.

I am having trouble with growing herbs.. is there a trick? I use Jiffy greenhouse trays to plant my seeds and everything else comes up beautifully in them, but anytime I do herbs they don't take. I've tried mint and lavender and nothing has happened. Am I giving up on them too soon or should I adjust the temp or what? Any help would be great.

I am looking for teak sealer that will protect the teak from weathering and changing colour. I was told to use teak sealer but all I can find is teak oil. What is the difference and what do you recommend? Thanks!

My fiance and I were just given a 24' above ground pool. Our land is mostly flat. There is a small decline in the yard. We are unsure of the best way to excavate the land to put up the pool. Most pool places will not install because it is not a pool we bought from them. If you have any suggestions....

Shabby chic is like understated elegant designs, white walls, delicate flower prints and faded pastels. Furniture made to look old and recycled. Similar to french country and cottage designs but more toned down with whites.

I keep getting small holes in clothes mostly t-shirts and lite weight cottons, but also in jeans? I'm pretty sure it's the washing machine because my dryer was resently replaced. I thought I might be overloading the machine, but not sure if that would cause holes. Some of the holes look like rip marks, but no dark marks like from the dryer??? Help! I'm tired of ruining clothes!

...there too. I found these people to be polite and hard working. I was given a goose-neck hoe to chop weeds
out of a tomato patch about the size of Texas it seemed,
needles to say...I quit! However, these transit workers
jumped at the chance to get that job and the little tomato
plants lived to produce a bumper crop...Is this little story
a plus for migrant or transit workers ?
