I have a black leather sofa, two accent chairs that are mutli-colored and chrome shelves, chrome table and a black and chrome tv. I need help selecting the wall color. It's a large room so I can go with dark colors. I LOVE the look of Chocolate Brown but dont know if it makes decorating sense :)

Thanks

your style sounds fairly modern to me so I would suggest a gray tone, which will go good with your black leather and chrome, also it should be safe no matter what colours are in your multi coloured chairs. Since you were originally interested in Browns you want to look at grays with brown hues. I recommend looking at Benjamin Moore;
escarpment- cc-518 or metropolis cc-546.
Another favorite of mine are the bluish grays.
boothbay HC-165
duxbury HC-163
I used these two colours in a young couples condo recently, looks great, do one wall darker or if you have architectural features (bulkheads etc,) do them darker, it is so subtle but looks great..

Trust me, you don't want to mix brown and black!! as someone else here suggested, the deep purple 'aubergine' (really translates to eggplant!! would be a good choice..But do you really want all walls to be dark? you'll be turning lights on all the time!! why not 1 or 2 accent walls? say, the two end walls? then a slightly lighter shade, but not too light, of the same colors? just something to think about!! good luck and have fun!! OR if you plan on keeping those multi-color chairs for a while, you could use one of the colors in the chairs...but only if you plan to keep them for a long, long time!!!

I would use the color you like the best from the chairs, assuming it is not black.
Chocolate can work with black, if the room is big enough and the floor is not dark
[ wood? tile? carpet? color? ] Add some light, bright artwork that repeats some of the upholstery colors -
paintings/posters, mirror, wood cut-outs, tribal masks, whatever.
Caramel might also work.
Any deep or bright color [ red, green, blue, purple ] in a shade of the chair print would look great.
Use a second color [ bright ] for pillows/cushions, drapes, lamps or shades, flowerpots.

What colour are the multi colour chairs?

Depending on the answer to that, I would suggest red. Probably a dark red wine colour and maybe just on one wall with the other walls white/cream but if the room is big enough and you are brave enough, paint the whole room red.

Easy & boring answer is white. If you like dark walls, you could go with an eggplant or burgundy. I don't like mixing browns & black...just my opinion.

First of all they need to go with something that you are wearing. But I like the turquise one.
