today when i went into my garage to get the vacume cleaner, i pulled it away and behind it was a web of loads of little spiders. well, they looked like spiders... there must be at least 100 little tiny ones all on one web. when i told my dad, he said that when he was a kid he went to pick what he thought was a pinecone from a tree. it turned out to be loads of these little spiders, and they all crawled up his arm. we have put most of them in the garden because we don't want a huge population of spiders in our garage for obvious reasons. but i just want to know:

are they dangerous? what exactly are they? and how big is the mother is whats worrying me most lol.....

i live in the U.K. by the way

Mother spiders lay eggs and wrap them in spider silk so that they are bunched up in a little pouch. When they hatch there are hundreds of them. They won't hurt you. They eat mosquitos and other pesky insects. You did the right thing in putting them in the garden.

I know in the UK they call they call fries chips and elevators lifts, but I am not sure if spiders are the same in the US as in the UK.

Anyway, spiders leave all their eggs in one sac in the web. When they hatch, they all hatch from the same place at the same time. That's why there are so many.

No spider in Britain is dangerous unless you consider a nip dangerous lol. Yeah they are most probably babies and who cares how big the mother is, she cant harm you. Inface there has only been one or two recorded cases of people being bitten by spiders in UK.

Hope that reassures you

Its hard to say what exactly they are with out seeing them,
(I work at a pest control company), but there is an awesome website for just this kind of thing! Its whatsthatbug.com. They have thousands of pictures and descriptions of bugs from all over the world, and if you don't find what you are looking for, you can email them a picture and they will have an entomologist identify it for you. Very cool.

not merely the mattress, the closet too. ;-; If I dropped one in each of my crammed animals off of the mattress even as i develop into attempting to sleep, and the room develop into darkish, i might want to allow it stay there because i presumed something might want to snatch my arm from less than the mattress as i tried to %. it up. :3 i don't think that stuff anymore besides the indisputable fact that. I nonetheless get spooked through the closet if I watch a really scary horror action picture besides the indisputable fact that. >->

They're hatchlings. Don't be spraying a bunch of poison around and giving everyone cancer. creepy as they are, spiders are beneficial because they kill lots of bad insects.
