looks like a double cherry bloom, just larger, bud looks like a small pumpkin.when the flower bloom, this pod stays very fleshy and opens up into a starshape.Leaves are small and glossy, narrow. We have asked all our customers in the greenhouse if they know,so far no luck.We live in south Georgia.Any ideas what it could be,or a site with pictures to check out?

I am guessing that it is the tree named Scientific name: Saraca indica
Common name: Asok (Hind.) ; Asogam (Tarn.), Ashoka Tree, Jonesia Asoka, Gandhapushpa, Sorrowless tree
Family: Caesalpinioideae / Caesalpiniaceae
Origin: India

It is definitely pictured on the site below and has orange flowers. I hope this helps.

it's just a type of "azalea"...if the blooms r star shaped like u said then this is true! they come in dozens of colors and orange is one of them.
