why can they do it... everybody do some... .. meaning the laundry....

UN-LESS ... you have lost of money... then just take it to the dry cleaning and you do not have to worry about folding and any other stuff....

there are places here, in my hometown, that wash and fold... (as a business) ... but... to answer your question, they charge for each item 0.99 cent. I think is a lot of money.... and they do not iron....!!! if you wanted to get it ironed, they charge more.

good luck ;-)

Absolutely nothing. It would be a waste of money. When I was single mom with only 2 kids i used to drop our clothing off to be washed cost about 45.00 a week. But now i have a husband and 5 kids, omg, could you imagine the difference of cost $45 for 1 adult and 2 infants (twins) as opposed to 2 adults and 4 teenagers and a toddler? I would spend 1/5 of my income on laundry alone. Oh no do it yourself is better in my situation. But they usually charge by the pound.

I prefer to do my own. I won't even let my husband do laundry! I want to know that the proper detergent was used and that the clothes were rinsed very well, and I like to hang them on the clothesline in the summer.
