I am redoing my master bath. We have double sinks. I want a frosted glass vessel sink on my side, but my husband doesn't want one on his side. Would having one vessel sink and one non-vessel sink look disjointed? How could I tie the two sinks together? Thanks

i got two mock dog-tags, and i need to make them look old and faded for a photo project. the problem i got is i can't get them to get dull... they're very shinny. i've soaked them in water, to try and rust em, and i've tried soakin 'em in rubbin alcholl, and lighter fluid to try to disolve any coating that they are coated in, but the won't dull down.

any other suggestions?

I just finished painting my room a dark brown color. The problem is, everytime I touch the paint (It's dried by the way), it leaves smudges where my fingers touched. Is it just the color, since it's dark and shows smudges easier? Or could it be the paint? I would hate having to have to repaint my whole entire room, is there some sort of sealer or whatnot I could use? What's wrong and what is it actually called in painting lingo (if there is such a term). Thanks alot!

I am replacing doors in my home but now noticed that the doors and walls in this house were built with 1x4's or 1x6's. So when I buy a standard door, its made for a 2x4 wall. How do you change that to make it more up to date?

It's about fifteen foot tall. The once beautiful crimson & green leaves had holes throughout last fall and edges looking prematurely brown. A so called expert said there was'nt much I could do without spending a fortune, and then not much hope. Is there a spray or something I could purchase from a nursery and do it myself ?
