The situation is that my husband is leaving and I have two small children, expecting my third in three weeks. I am looking for a way to make ends meet and to be able to continue to stay at home w/my children. I am considering offering laundry services, but have no idea where to start. Any advice concerning reasonable rates, etc. would be appreciated. I know at the local laundromats, the rates are $1/lb. for them to wash/dry/fold your laundry, detergent is included, but you dropoff & p/u. Would be offering pickup/drop off, thanks for your help. Also, any additional ideas on making it work. Considered soliciting the local campus, as I hear that laundry services are becoming more popular now. Don't want to get into something that would not be worthwhile. Thanks, Tiffany

The gap is quite large between top of bath and wall/tiles possibly about 1/2 inch (1 cm) in places. Nothing too complicated please as I want to do it myself.
It wouldn't bother me if it was just a bath but there's shower unit over the bath so I need to stop the water disappearing down the wall before it does any serious damage.
Thank you.

We have sage green carpeting in the living room and dining room and we'd like to paint. We really don't want tans or beiges in those rooms and would like something with some colour though preferably not too intense of a colour. The flooring just outside these rooms is a bleached clay coloured tile and we need the wall colour to visually flow from the tile to the green carpet to the walls. Any advice on what colours to use? Thank you

Had never witnessed anything like this before; the bowl was filled with artificial fruit, but was quite heavy; Glass was everywhere and, only for the grace of God, there was no one directly in its path. Would temperature change have anything to do with it?

I have been working for a family w/ a very big house that has gotten bigger through out the years. With the cost of living and having more to clean I want to ask for a raise but I don't know how to go about doing that. I want at least a $15 more but i don't know how to aproach them and let them know.

Any suggestion would be appreciated.
