In this busy world, most people (including my partner and I) work full-time, and hardly have time to smile at each other, let alone spend time together... inevitably, this also means that our house is not as clean as either of us would like it to be, because we just don't have the motivation to spend our 1.5 days off work cleaning.

So...

1. How often would you like someone to come and clean your house? (me: probably once a fortnight)
2. How much would you like them to do? (me: vaccuuming, cleaning bath room & kitchen probably)
3. How much would you be willing to pay? (around $50 per visit)
4. How would you go about finding a trust worthy company to take care of it? (no idea! yellow pages or internet i guess).

I'm just curious to know if there are other people like me out there.

My Rubber plant was about six feet tall. I have been growing it for six years now. Unfortnately, it was to big to carry in by myself during a hard freeze in central florida. Consequently it died. I am so depressed about it. I just recently pruned it. Took all the dead leaves off of it. I'm hoping it will come back. The worst part of it all is my mom gave it to me when it was really small, so needless to say it is very sentimental to me. Please help.

Under the sink there are water valves (one with the red knob and the other with the blue)....If i connect my hose there will i have to unscrew the screw on the knob to let water pass?????Or do i need any additional materials??

I have basic to moderate plumbing skills. I'm wondering if I can replace it myself. Other than disconnecting gas line & water in/out lines, drain old heater, replace, make sure it's level, and reconnect everything, am I leaving out ANYTHING? Don't want to start it unless I'm pretty sure I can finish. Please don't leave out ANYTHING! Thanks.

I have a washing machine. When i left for work today, i put in a load of clothes to wash. When i came home the washer was still running water into it as if it was getting ready to wash a load of clothes. the water just drains back out of it, instead of cutting off and start washing my clothes, they just sit there, unwashed.

the previous owners of the house left the holes in the wall and bags of Roxell blown insulation all over the house. They had to foreclose before it was blown in. Do I really need to rent a blower or can I raise the kids allowance and get them to stuff the holes? (of course they will be wearing protective clothes and their in their teens)

My dorm room is so small that my bed ended up being right next to the radiator in our room. Sometimes I wake up because it's soooo hot! So, I bought this body pillow to put against it so it would block some of the heat, and I love it, but I'm afraid the heater is going to get so hot that the pillow will catch on fire or something? Is putting the pillow directly against the radiator dangerous??
