yes you can.
tie them together and hang to dry upside down. they will keep the colour and you can then once dry spray them with hairspray to stay firm.

if you dry out a sunflower, all the seeds will come out, make sure they dry out properly and then you can use them or give them to your hamster or guinea pig or leave them out to encourage wild birds into your garden. :)

You could do...but they will make a bloody mess....All the seeds drop out.......
Then you can eat them.....Good for you....
