My dorm room is so small that my bed ended up being right next to the radiator in our room. Sometimes I wake up because it's soooo hot! So, I bought this body pillow to put against it so it would block some of the heat, and I love it, but I'm afraid the heater is going to get so hot that the pillow will catch on fire or something? Is putting the pillow directly against the radiator dangerous??

A steam radiator does not produce enough heat to cause combustion. You are just fine. Be aware though that the steam radiator may get hot enough to cause burns to your skin if you touch it.

Firstly let me say IT IS NOT A FIRE HAZARD, unless the radiator is an electric/oil filled one (water filled radiators do not produce a high enough temperature to ignite upholstery). It will however dry out the leather in time, which would damage the sofa, and being dried out would be easier than normal to burn, if and only if a source of ignition were to be present. The life span of the sofa would be reduced by having it next to the radiator, depending on how often it is hot!!

you are going to catch on fire and die! didn't you read the warning labels on the radiator? or a better question, do you have common sense?
