i just painted my living/dining room last weekend with a beigey color i love, but its looking a little blah now. couch is purple, chair and 1/2 and is army green, side chair purple. white trim and dark mohagany tv armoire, sofa table and book case. curtains are a darker beige chenille. anyone have an idea for an accent color? i was thinking red, but i'd like some other options. i'd like to bring in this color with pillows, accessories and artwork. specific items much appreciated. thank you!

I live in South Florida and lately have had quite a few Black Snake visits in my Screened-in Pool and Lanai area. They get in somehow (probably squeeze under the doors) and can't get out!

Just yesterday it took me about an hour to get one out (long extension pole). I have 2 little Yorkies that usually sniff them out as I have a lot of planters in this area where they can hide.

Black snakes are good and I'm not freaked out by them, but I don't want them so close. I leave my outside doors open all the time and just don't want them coming into the house.

When I told a friend about this the other day...he told me that snakes sometimes keep coming back to a certain location and that I should probably try to get them out of the pool cage and throw them into the canal so that the tide carries them away?????? I don't know how a person could ever do this unless they grabbed it (which I'm not prepared to do).

Anybody have any ideas? Is this really true?

Cuisinart® Chef's Classic™ Stainless 10-Piece Cookware Set - this is what I have on my wedding registry, but we may end up living in a house his parents rent and they just put in a flat top electric stove or whatever its called... I heard you have to be careful what type of pots you buy, some may not heat as well on that type of stove? I heard you need pots with a flat bottom, does it matter what material they are made out of? I just want to be certain because I love this set. Thanks!

We moved in two years ago and our inspector tested for asbestos - and found none. But the previous owners had broken up some of the asbestos tile when they installed french drains in the basement. There are no loose parts now and we'd like to cover it with wall to wall carpeting to create a rec room (we have an 18 month old). But now we have two problems - I didn't realize these were asbestos, so now I'm worried about our health AND no one will install carpet over the broken tile! What do I do??
