Oxy makes a FABULOUS pet stain/smell cleaner. It beats Natures Miracle out the window because the enzymatic cleaners need a week to work, but Oxy works then and there. It's also way cheaper.

Nature's miracle is an enzyme cleaner specifically made for dog and cat urine odors. I also use a second product called Trail with equally good results.
We have several cats, and one took to spraying in my car. I tried vinegar, febreze, all kinds of cleaners, soaps, baking soda, and every other perfume or deodorizer I could find. The Nature's Miracle finally worked and I can park the car in the sun and not smell cat pee.
Truthfully, cat urine is awful stuff to remove. If it is in the foam or pad there is a good chance it will never come out completely, but you should be able to get enough out that it won't bother you.

Go with Nature's Miracle, available at most pet stores. A little pricey but a bottle lasts quite awhile as a little of it goes a long way. It is a natural product and I've used it for years. I have recommended it here many times and don't hesitate to give it an endorsement.

For carpet, the urine sinks down to the mat beneath. If you can pull it up, the carpet, treat the mat and the bottom of the carpet.

Hey! That is such a stubborn problem! I would recommend any product with enzymes. Enzymes basically "eat" what they are applied to. They have even developed similar ideas to pour around oil spills to diminish spreading. I use "Nature's Miracle". Good luck!!!

that is a hard one. Did you try vinigar? I know this works on wood, and tile, but I have never heard of rugs. Try it and let me know. The thing thought is that you will have to then add water to it, and vacum the water out and dry the rug after.
