I actually prefer a carpeted bathroom. It's really inexpensive, too. Some people think this unhealthy (because of the way men are known to "miss"!!) But clean living is clean living. You can always clean & sterilize (with any commercial product) or just replace it. Look around for remnents at local carpet dealers, take home & cut to fit. I think you'll be surprized & will like the look & feel. Good luck!

Vinyl tiles are pretty cheap. Especially if you have a "Family Dollar" store in your area. A 12 ct box of 12x12in tiles for $10 American

If your wanting temporary, a couple of throw rugs which can be picked up and thrown into the washer when dirty. You can cover up the worse spots on your floor and put one in front of the bath tub and sink.

I recently covered my laundry room floor, which is about 100 sq. ft., with peel and stick vinyl tiles and did it for about $65 American. Got 'em at Home Depot.

You didn't say the size of your bathroom, so I would assume it is a 7'x5', you could put floor laminate. If you have a tub and toilet and sink, you are left with probably 3'x3 space of floor to cover.
You may also try lenolyum (stick on tiles)
Good Luck!

You can get peel and stick tiles for between $1.00-2.00 a sqft. The actually have some that are not bad. I think it would be in your budget. The big box stores have several brands and styles.

Yes, you can go to Home Depot, or Lowes and buy that peel and place tile. They have them in different price ranges.. And at Home Depot I know they will help you with any questions. You can even ask them if they have any suggestions b/4 you do the work...Lowe's probably will also.....good luck.

well, wash it really well and then get some semi-gloss paints and then paint a cool design on the floor like a grid pattern or squiggles (let your imagination run wild) and then let it dry then seal it with regular linoleum sealer. It looks good and it's creative and inexpensive.
