I got the new dryer home (bought at an estate sale-"heavy -duty") & saw the plug was different & went to hardware store and bought the correct outlet to match the plug, but it has a place to hook up 4 wires, where my old plug only had 3 wires to breaker box. Does it need rewired to fit this? I can't afford electrician as hubby just passed away,I was hoping to be able to do myself- i can usually fix anything in my house. any answers would be appreciated, thanks, Lynne

I am planning to start my Morning Glorys from seed now vs buying plants in spring. I want to have them blooming early and all summer vs waiting until well into the summer months.

Last yr our deck was such a "happy place" due to the many various birds feeding, bathing, and I think maybe stopping by to visit!! All this was from the security felt due to the coverage the birds had and not having the deck as a wide open space.

My plant zone(s) is 4-5. To the best of anyone's knowledge, is there any reason why this would not be successful? I plan on transpanting them to the container which they will be in all summer out on the deck, as well as the necessities for them to start climbing inside until it is safe to put them out re: frost. We keep our temp @ 68 in house but I will have grow lights for them.

I welcome any thoughts and ideas for this.

Mould has started to appear on the ceiling of my shower. I wipe it with cleaner but that takes off the ceiling paint too. And the grout around the tiles has started to look pinkish. Any suggestions on how to get rid of these? I have the extractor fan on while showering and leave the door open to the bathroom when done.

I am looking for 40 of these lanterns that I found on e-bay. They are ivory and glass and about 10 inches high. I want to use them for my centerpieces at my wedding but the shipping prices are outrageous. Does anyone know of any stores that would carry these? Here is what they look like: http://cgi.ebay.com/2-Large-Ivory-Glass-Candle-CENTERPIECES-Lanterns_W0QQitemZ130077042036QQihZ003QQcategoryZ82233QQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem

I dont know what chemicals/ scrubbing pads are safe to use in an oven. I dont want to cause an explosion or kill our noses by smell if I leave trace amounts of chemicals on the bottom surface prior to heating it up when I'm ready to use it again.

I love the way a house looks with vines on it. How can I acheive this look?

I am thinking that I can't grow vines over wood siding, but what about concrete? Also which vines are good? Ivy perhaps, but what about honeysuckle? How long does it take for a vine to cover a wall?

Thanks in advance!

Are the LED versions any better than the ones seen on market stalls?

I have a 3 year old GE stovetop with 4 burners. The electrode only pops when I use one of the burner knobs. HOwever, using this one knob you can see a spark at each of the 4 burners. When I turn any of the other three knobs, all I get is gas. So I can use all 4 burners, but can only light all four burners by using the same knob which is not safe or convenient. Clearly it's not an electrode issue. I Took the cooktop off and tried to get to the wiring but there's no way to get into the electrical components. Any advice? The stovetop was $400 and I'm not going to call a repair man that will probably charge me close to that to fix a problem I should be able to fix on my own. Any help would be appreciated!

Thanks,
Scott

I've noticed that if I grow tomatoes in the same spot for consecutive years that my crop isn't as good as the first year. Even though last year I mixed in composted manure to my garden my tomato plants didn't seem to produce as much or the best quality. Does anyone know why this happens and what I can do to insure better crops in the future?

I'd like a small size appliance due to counter space constraints. My old one was Samsung, and it lasted over 10 years. It can be white or chrome. What should I expect to pay? Thanks.
