If you havent got space to leave it out on the worktops then don't buy it. Once its in the cupboards with the spiders you'll never use, or even remember, it again.

I have a very limited amount of counter space. Barely have room for the stuff I really need. Microwave, toaster, coffee maker, and stand mixer.
One gadget I got that is good is the "One Touch" can opener. Works well, on batteries. Small enough to keep in a drawer where it really is handy to reach for it. Less room needed for that than an electric opener
Lots of other "must have" gadgets are tucked away somewhere. I get along without them. Will put them out into a garage sale this summer. If you don't use them, you don't need them.

Anything you see at Ideal Home demonstrations or demonstrations in stores when you think I must have that it would be so useful (like gadgets to cut tomatoes into flowers) and then they end up in the cupboard because it takes a week and a half to clean them after usage.

i saw something in the newspaper last week some toaster with an egg cooker attatched to it, so all is ready at the same time - genius. Think they've been out in America for ages. Very clever idea.....

my electric skillet. I love it, it's so convenient and practical. And light weight, and easy to clean. Love it.
I do wish I had one of those magic bullets. Those look so neat. Does anyone have one they are willing to give me.
