I need to organize my room. Most of my stuff should go by my desk, but there isnt enough room near my desk so I have to put a lot of it in my walk-in closet across the room. Any suggestions on what to put where? thanks :)

Someone gave us an antique vanity meant for a younger girl. Our daughter is only two, but by the size of it, it would be perfect for a little desk for her. However, even though she is very careful with things, I would like to be able to put something on the top of the surface that will protect it from scratches and other wear and tear as she uses it till she's older. Any suggestions?

I PURCHASED A CRAFTSMAN 1/2 HP CHAIN DRIVE DOOR OPENER AND INSTALLED IT A COUPLE OF MONTHS AGO. NOW THE THING HAS A MIND OF ITS OWN AND DECIDES TO OPEN WHENEVER IT WANTS. I HAVE BEEN SITTING IN THE LIVINGROOM AND IT JUST OPENS ALL BY ITSELF. IT HAS DONE IT ABOUT 3 OR 4 TIMES NOW. ANY ADVICE?

Help!!
I work in a lifecare facility, and while enroute with a patient the other day, I absent-mindedly put their "therapy putty" inside my uniform pants pocket. It is a mess! Lime-green putty is inside my navy blue uniform pocket:(....I have tried freezing & chipping it off and also have tried spraying it with WD40 to help lossen it as I tried getting it off the material. Is there a safer, faster or better way to remove the "therapy putty?" Thanks for all who answers; I am desperate to clean this mess all up.

Why are construction workers so bad about littering, even dropping cigarettes on the floor IN the house?

I have 8 kids and need an easy to maintain kitchen floor. I'm looking at a Mannington sheet vinyl, but it is highly textured. Concerned about dirt in the grooves. Do you have this floor?
Am considering marmoleum as an alternate. Thank You

I have several areas I need to put access panels in to be able to access cable splitter, gas switch for fireplace, water knob for refrigerator, and hot/cold water knobs, etc.

I'm in the process of finishing my basement and the access panels are on a slope (angle) in the ceiling. I was thinking about using vent openings to access these (you know, the vents that are used for the ac/heat to rooms) I don't believe it would look bad cosmetically speaking, but would like to know if there was a better solution or a better way to access these knobs.

Any help would be great. Thanks

I dripped some vegetable oil on my favorite pair of jeans. I rubbed some dishwashing liquid and water on the spot and washed them in cold water, but it's still there. Anyone have a solution?

Thanks in advance.

very pretty bush with tons of little white flowers, with a strong spicy scent...prunes and shapes to a very pretty bush, seemed very hardy since it faced the north...sometimes bloomed more than once...never knew what it was, but moved before I could find out what it was...
