first of all, most disposers warn about running a lot of potato peelings through the disposer. it's like a big potato masher when the grindings get pushed into the drain. you are going to have to clean out the cabinet under the sink and get a pan under the disposer, and then remove the drain. put the pan under the drain trap and undo the nuts that hold the pipes together, then remove the elbow on the back of the disposer. clean out all of the peelings that you can, and then suck the rest out of the disposer with a shop vac. put it all back together and make sure there aren't any leaks and then don't do potato peels anymore. good luck, hope this helps.

First unplug or turn off the potential, attain down in the drain beginning, and get rid of as lots of the obstruction as feasible. Then use the device that comes with all disposal contraptions, and bypass interior cabinet, below the sinc, and insert the device in the backside of the motor and start to manually rotate the motor with the WATER ON, and notice if the drain starts working, if it wont drain, then the drain catch is plugged. If the drain flows, turn the potential back on, and run the disposal with the water on for sort of three minutes to be certain you clean out the full drain!!! motor vehicle TECH 22 YEARS!!!

Mine did that. I pulled out as many of the peels as I could, the got a plunger out and plugged up the other side of the sink. I just kept at until the garbage disposal cleared.

on the bottom of the disposer (Underneath the sink, the plastic housing base of the unit itself) is a small keyhole like space for an allen wrench which you use to turn the disposal mechanism in reverse manually. Do this a few turns and then take the wrench out, turn the unit on and see if this helps.
WARNING:
DO NOT turn the disposer on with the key/allen wrench in the hole.

if you have a socket set with a ratchet, use either the 9/16 " or the 5/8" socket, place it over the bolt in the very center of the garbage disposal, and twist. it is easier than using the allen wrench and a lot easier than using a mob handle to twist the blades.

Turn it off first. Run the water, turn it on. If this does not take care of it hire a plumber.
