I have 8 kids and need an easy to maintain kitchen floor. I'm looking at a Mannington sheet vinyl, but it is highly textured. Concerned about dirt in the grooves. Do you have this floor?
Am considering marmoleum as an alternate. Thank You

I had it and it was very high maintenance. The grooves require scrubbing if not cleaned as so as it gets dirty. I wouldn't have it again.

I've had a lot of experience in flooring my house recently. Since you have children and will be cleaning it often, I would get sheet vinyl with some texture (which hides dirt if you can't get to it right away) but not highly textured. Stay away from laminate wood and vinyl squares. They don't hold up to high traffic well.

IMO you choice with mannington is a good one. If the vinyl is on the higher end of their products, you won't have any problems keeping it clean. If, however, the vinyl is one of their lower end products, be careful! The price is great, but it will not hold up as well. More prone to tears, stains, and dirt.

I would stay away from the texture. My sister has Maroleum, and loves it. She re-did her kitchen about 5 years ago, and it still looks great.
