The oven is really old, gold colored. It has a matching fridge. If I just replaced the oven, it won't match the fridge. I also have a white dishwasher. Was kind've thinking of getting a stainless steel new oven and fridge, then get a new dishwasher whenever I get new kitchen cabinets in a couple of years. Or I could get all 3 appliances... What should I do?

i have just been sent an invoice from a builder who i asked to tendor for an extension. he is invoicing me for two site visits, writing two letters, telephoning my architect and me and preparing a four page tendor.
because i have said that i am not going to progress with the job he has invoiced me for the above!
at no point did i sign any documentation to say he had the job nor did he say there would be a charge for his time!
what do i do? do i ignore his letter and wait to see what the outcome is or do i just pay the invoice?

I can not get my ceiling fan to come on after a power surge about six months ago. This is not the first time this has happened,I did call the company the first time this happened and was told that there is a censor in the motor that burned out. Make a long story short I returned the fan motor they said it was repaired and it did work for a while now it has stopped working again. I also want to mention that there are two other identical fans in the house that have never been afected by the power surge as this one has

The glow plugs start up, then the gas starts, then the glow plugs go out, (everything normal at this point) and seconds later the gas shuts off. This cycle repeats itself a couple of times and then stops all together. Any help?

I've had 4 in the last 1 1/2 yrs. They work great at first than just stay lukewarm on High heat. It seems the Full size I used to use lasted for years. I'm thinking the problem is with the dual controls. My current blanket that's acting up is for Lands End for $199 so these are NOT cheap blankets I'm talking about.

I am interested in a sleep number bed, and was wondering where I could find some good deals on them. I'd rather them be new instead of used. King sized dual chamber with cordless remotes.

Thanks.

I was standing a metal ladder on my enclosed porch, but the electrical outlet is inside the home, not out on the porch. I successfully drilled the first hole in the concrete ceiling with no effect. The second time is when I felt a slight electrical shock, wearing rubber soled shoes, I should add here, that is was raining outside, but I nor the cord were getting wet or standing in any water.. Any other suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

I'm drilling a hole into a concrete ceiling out on my enclosed porch. I have two different drills I used, getting the same result. Do you think it is the electrical outlet or the extension cord (thick outdoor coded)? I do not have a hammerjack drill, just 3/8 double insulated. How do you test if the outlet may have a short? The extension cord appears on the outside to be fine. Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated.
