I can not get my ceiling fan to come on after a power surge about six months ago. This is not the first time this has happened,I did call the company the first time this happened and was told that there is a censor in the motor that burned out. Make a long story short I returned the fan motor they said it was repaired and it did work for a while now it has stopped working again. I also want to mention that there are two other identical fans in the house that have never been afected by the power surge as this one has

those fans are senstive they usually have electronic parts in them that most other fans dont have and the reason that one may be going is it may be connected to a breaker at the top of the electrcial panel which in turn is getting more of a surge best thing you can do is get a whole house surge pro. call a electrician
