Last night my daughter did the dishes this morning when I tried to finish up the sink is plugged, there is water on both sides of the sink, I tried liquid plumber but it did not seem to work, what do you suggest. Thank you for your time.

You need to plug the one side of the sink with the drain strainer. Hold it in place. Now you need to use a plunger on the other side. Hold the plug in place or else you will just push water from one side of the sink to the other.

Buy One Second Plumber. It really works. I use this all the time when my sink plugs. And yes, plug one side while you unplug the other side.

toilet plunger should do the trick..
my concern, if you live in a very cold area...that a pipe may have frozen...Since the liquid plumber didnt work...

I'd go and check the pipes...before you use plunger
