I have herd that moth balls work for getting rid of birds in your home is this true and how do I get rid of them?

Find out how they get in and close that off. You may need to use metal flashing, or a tight wire mesh. Moth balls only stink a place up. With air circulation, they don't even work on moths.

Get some cats. Just kidding. Is yoour (A-T-T-I-C) accessible. Can a person physically chase the birds out. Because your problem is how they are getting IN. Once you know this and correct it you will have no more birds in the attic.
