My door freezes closed and there is water leaking in the frame on the door is starting to crack How do you fix crack wood door frames. The water is starting to leak in , if i only new how to fix the frame it wouldnt leak in.....Someone please help, its driving me crazy.

the water from leaking is making hte frame come off the wall....do you think nailing it would work ? The ice is melting and leaking down the door into the house.

Get some spray silicone at an auto store like pep boys or auto zone or maybe even Wal Mart and spray the door jamb all the way around, clean it good first with a good cleaner or alcohol. To fix the door you would have to take it down and glue and clamp the cracks. Maybe you should get a new one or look for a piece of flashing to go over the door to deflect the rain.
