The uneven brick surface tears up a sponge mop. I've never used a string mop, but if it slops too much water on the floor, the water would collect in the grout between the bricks and mildew.

I have a vacant home in Utah, built in yr 2001, and the only thing running is the furnace which is electric. The house is 3,800 sq ft and the only thing on is the furnace set at 55 degrees. There are no appliances in the home with the exception of a refrigerator and a gas stove.

Why would the gas bill for an empty home be $160 when the only thing that is running is the furnace but it's electric?

Thanks in advance.

I have a small pool with a Redwood tree that drops a lot of debris into the pool. There is a brown residue on the sides and bottom of the pool that is really unsightly and annoying. Do you have any recommendations on how to remove it?

I don't know what material my bathtub is made of but there are some darker areas that will not come out no matter what I use. I have used bleach, oxy clean, comet...and brushes to scrub. What can I do to make it look better? It looks dirty even when I have just cleaned it. Thanks!! Oh yeah, it was put in about 10 yrs ago if that helps.

I've got a stainless steel oven with a double glass oven door - the inner sleeve of the glass slides out for cleaning. However, I just cant get it clean!

Any ideas of a product I can use? We've even tried a steam cleaner, but no good.
