I don't know what material my bathtub is made of but there are some darker areas that will not come out no matter what I use. I have used bleach, oxy clean, comet...and brushes to scrub. What can I do to make it look better? It looks dirty even when I have just cleaned it. Thanks!! Oh yeah, it was put in about 10 yrs ago if that helps.

Magic eraser, I had the same problem, I went as far as trying a Brillo pad, that didn't work. I saw the magic erasers advertised over and over again. I didn't think they would be any good so I wouldn't buy them. I got a coupon in the mail for the eraser and thought hmmm I will try this out. Tried in on the tub and was amazed that it brought out that stain when nothing else would!!!!

Try a pumice stone. You should find one in a supermarket or a hardware store. Takes lots of scrubbing, but it actually scrapes the stain off the porcelain. Once you get rid of the stain it wont come back if you keep up on the cleaning of it.

A good rust remover should be able to remove discoloration without scrubbing. Check the label to be sure it can be used on your particular bathtub surface.
