just got married and im trying to do my part and do some dang laundry. which way will i get a better wash? or does it make no difference

Unbutton, if you do not the agitation in the washer may loosen the connection that is holding on the button and eventually one may fall off. Also washing & drying while buttoned and stretch out the button holes.

Not really a big deal, but your clothes will last longer if you leave them unbuttoned in the wash

unbutton, jean´s turned outside in , all white clothes washed together, blouses shirts normally on a 40c look at labels inside the clothes, dark colors separate again check the labels inside the clothes . Most towels 60c heavy soiled 90c, and the same with sheets if they are cotton. hope that´s a help
