christ chap where do we start?

ok 1. get an architect to look over the house and draw up plans...submit them for planning and the off you go ...

or 2. just do it

or 3. sriously give us all a clue of type of house pitch of roof, probable access for stair location...been a chippy for many years so ask away and lets see what we can sort...

Clean it out.


Measure it ... all the dimensions... windows, uprights, horizontals....
Look for places where there is wiring... etc
and write that all down on a drawing ... where there are places for pipes from a downstairs bathroom if you want a bath or shower room in the attic....

dream about what you would like in that space .... write it all down...know what you want ... and then

consult an architect !

Depending on what kind of house you have you would just have to insulate the floor and wall and put the flooring down and the sheet rock up with the paint and make sure you do the electrical when you do the sheet rock. Good luck.

Get all the junk outta there, repaint the walls, install good lighting, big windows, & there you are!

get a builder in to make sure that you have enough supports to hold up a floor up there

well you wont be able to do it yourslf it is a very hard job you havr to strengthen it first then add stairs it is hard hope i helped ya
