I have immersion heater upstairs. Downstairs taps run perfectly well apart from the kitchen one. It is a 2 taps-into-one-spout type. The cold is fine but the hot tap begins half heartedly, and quickly gets less and less until it stops completely after about a quarter of a bowl full. This sometimes also happens with the upstairs hot bath tap too. why would this happen?

I'm installing a new double vanity and the drain pipe (which is coming from the wall) is about 4" to the right of where the sink drain hole is. Is this a problem? What parts do I need?

I don't really want to just pin/staple/tape it up. I want it to look nicer than that. I just want a simple thin black frame, but I know this will cost a fortune to custome frame at Hobby Lobby or Michaels, even if I go during a half-price sale. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

The house is located in Chicago and it is thet dead of winter. I want to keep my energy bills down but obviously don't want to worry about my pipes freezing.

I love taking baths to relax, but the tub in my house is not the most comfortable and I can't afford a new one right now. I'm looking for a table to go over my lap so I can read in the tub, and a cushion to make it more comfortable to lay down in (right now I use towels but I can never get them just right).

Once or twice a day there is a knocking noise or 2 which is coming from the refrigerator. It is fairly loud and I sometimes hear it during the night. I think it might be associated with the compressor starting /stopping. Is this normal?

I live in Oklahoma. My fridge is broken and my landlord said that if a coil is dirty, I have to pay for the fridge repair guy to come out and fix it. I clean my fridge and vaccum out everything I can, even underneath. But she says, it was because I didn't keep it clean and I have to pay. Do I have to pay this??

Thanks

I have just purchased a Bestway comfort quest air mattress, which says easy inflate on the box but no instructions on how to inflate, there is a valve with a small thin rubber wire type through the hole in the valve. Is this anything to do with inflating it?
