Got to your local hardware store and buy a snow rake. It is designed for pulling snow off a roof without the need for climbing on it and shoveling.

Go to Lowe's or Home Depot and buy a snow rake. You never have to climb on your roof. Those things are great!

If it is a one story house you can buy a snow rake from Home Depot or possibly Lowe's. This lets you rake off the snow from the ground. They are about $60.00 dollars in Canada
