The best thing you can do with a laminate floor is avoid lots of moisture in the joint cracks. I have had pretty good luck using a Swiffer on mine. If you want to use the "wet jet", no problem, just go a bit easy on the button there as soaking the floor could force moisture into the joints. The joints will then "cup" (curl upwards) and then you have lost the flatness appearance of the floor. A damp cloth is all you need to clean up spills. The finish is not unlike a countertop. Treat it like you treat your kitchen counter (but no harsh scrubbing) and you should have long life with it.

I used to sell flooring, and to be honest with you I HATE laminate flooring. #1 Never use water on laminate- it swells like a sponge#2 Lowes and HD sell a laminate cleaner#3 laminate flooring adds no real re-sale value to your home.

I have Pergo type floors. I use a small amount of Murphys Oil Soap in a pail of water and damp mop. The floors come out nice.

Are you recommending me something or asking?
Just use furniture poilsh or a non-bleach cleaner.
You can always re-varnish once it shows wear.
