I have an office with no window. Are there any plants that can live off of flouresent lights?

Try philodendrons. In the plant care world they are considered "idiot proof". Clean the leaves occasionally with water and a soft cloth. They need to stay dust-free in a room with only artificial lighting because the dust could block some of the light. You don't want that.

You can set up a small light fixture w/ plant grow light bulbs in it... then you can have most any desk plant you want. ;)
