im moving into a new house, and im not sure what i want my bedroom to look like..theres trim near the celing that's white (same as near the floorboards) i want to keep thoes both white. i just want to change the color of the celing and the walls to something that's not white, i would like some clolor added to my room. Or if you have a good theme that would be helpful as well. I just ask for a non-beach theme, or goth. i dont put posters on my walls either, so i want something elegant, peaceful, calming, and unique...any ideas would be greatly appreciated!!

I have tried several remedies for vege pests. The main ones being detergent based and nothing seems to work. There are no snails or grubs that i can see. The leaaves of my capsicum and mainly silverbeet are been eaten away by something i am unable to identify whatever they are they are just to small. I am growing them in pots and have only managed to get rid of the ants by putting down sugar & water well away from the vege pots but the other oblivious bugs remain. Can anyone help.

I live in a house where none of the rooms have light fixtures in the ceilings, all of our rooms have to lamps plugged in to the wall outlet and 1 of those outlets is controlled by the light switch. I would like to change this so that when I turn on the switch I can turn on a light fixture in the ceiling, pretty much to update my house. Should I or can I get power from an outlet or wall switch and how can I do this? Any picture diagrams would help me tremendously!!

It's a "box" or something similar that holds the dirt from muddy/wet shoes so the dirt don't get all over the floor after you take your shoes off at the front door.
Also where would I buy one?

Have you wondered why Do-It-Yourself customers at Home Depot are allowed to do gas piping in their own home?

I have seen people bewildered on what to buy and what to do.
For example:

A guy was buying pipe and fittings, to fix a natural gas problem in his house. I know this, because he was discussing this pipe-job with his partner.

The first thing I noticed was 45 degree elbows, galvanized nipples, and Teflon® tape. All of which are illegal in most places in my area.

I kept to myself. I didn't want to be rude and butt into somebody's conversation.

Teflon® Tape can clog an oriface, thus a malfunctioning boiler furnace or hot water tank.

45 degree elbows do not "give" or twist, if under any type of strain. A 90 degree will.

Galvanized metal will react to gas and deterioate, mainly inside of the pie, causing failure of the pipe, but mainly causing internal malfunctioning of the equipment.

Some places forbid cast iron fittings. They usually require malible iron.

I love to decorate my home with quilts on the walls as well as our beds. I love to quilt, but would like to know if any of you have tried the software for Electric quilt design, specifically the EQ5 or 6.
Did you like it? Is it easy to use?
