I spilt some oil on the oven when deep frying chips, and some is on the walls and am having trouble removing it. Is there something I can use to get it all up easerly?

I was going to suggest cat litter (which does well for spills in garages) but would not be so convenient for kitchen use. Do as much mop-up as possible with dry paper towels, and finish up with sudsy water and a sponge.

use a product called TSP--it cleans anything. if the oil has actually saturated the paint permanently--you will not be able to remove it without also removing some paint. in that case i would suggest a thorough scrub with TSP, a good rinse, then repaint.

Penguins and seals seem to soak up iol spills in the sea quite well! I don`t know if you will fit them in the oven though!

Brawny papertowels. They are strong. Try dishwashing detergent with it too. Joy is good for getting rid of grease.
