Yes, and I've done experiments to prove it correct. I jotted down the process:
1. First, water your grass. Let its emo hair grow real, real shaggy
2. Blast some terrible music (such as my chemical romance) for your grass to hear
3. Pretty soon, your grass will get so emo that you'll start to see it 'water' itself, as if it were crying. Then, you may hear some noise - It will start complaining to you about how bad of a lawn owner you've been. Pretty soon, it will make up stories about abuse
4. After you quit catering to its every whine and moan, it will mysteriously begin to start mutilating itself.
When you are doing this, just be sure not to be victimized by your lawn or YOU may in fact end up in depression, leading you toward violent tendencies!
