I bought some net curtain froma shop that sold it by the metre, it is now fraying down the sides. I have trimmed it but it is still fraying. Any suggestions? (I am rubbish at sewing by the way).
Thanks!

I have a phalaenopsis orchid, and I know I'm only supposed to cut the stem halfway, so does that imply that I should leave everything below that as is?

I have just bought a holiday home in Turkey and the living room floor is tiled. I have noticed areas that have not been grouted very well and i can see the adhesive showing through.
I am going to bring it to the developers attention and i just wanted to know if they will need to remove the old grout before they put the new grout in?
I want to make sure that they do the job the correct way.
Many Thanks

we are looking at the (encore). we are not interested in the porcelain finishes. I am concerned what the non-porcelain or matte-black will look like after several seasons of heating. will a rust develop?

the fan stops working when the oven gets hot. i have tested it and there is still a supply there. i have looked at the creda web site and you can still buy a new one. however i cant get the old one out. i assume you need to get the fan blade off the front of the shaft first but im not sure and it wont budge. cheers

Here, the snow is melting, the grass hasn't grown for months but the tulips and daffodils are blooming! Crazy!

We are renovation each room in our manufactered home, and ALL the walls have more liquid nails attached than we woudl like. Is there some chemical or something out there that gets rid of or at least makes it easy to remove liquid nails?

I'm not so worried about taking the walls or anything attached to it down (as we are trying to make the inside look like a real home before we get re-stationed)

Thank you so much!
