I need to get tape off my wall and people made the suggestion that I use vegetable oil to remove it. Now I have stains on my wall from the vegetable oil. I am also wanting to paint the wall but do not want it to soak through to the new paint.

Behind a 1,800 square foot house (3 bedroom) is a large propane gas tank which provides gas to heat the house's forced air gas furnace. How do I determine the level of gas that is in it, so I can tell how near it is to being empty ?

I am the maintainance supervisor at an apartment complex. We have had a water problem in the basement crawlspaces for some years. The owner has now agreed to fix the problem. My question is can a soakaway (drywell) be built successfully in clay soil? We had a landscape contractor come in and say yes if the soakaway is large enough. But we have also had a general contractor come in and say definately no. We have had several other contractors come in but all with different ideas.

If you know of any websites that would be great too. Any help with this is appreciated.

I have a yellow trumpet now that looks nice and grows fast, but the amount of bees is just ridiculous.
If you have any suggestions, when should I plant it?

I want my heat to be at 65 or so when i get home from work. Is it better to keep it at 50 or 60 during the time I'm not home? I can't figure out if the energy burned keeping it at a higher "away" temp is more or less than that which will be burned getting the temp up to 65 from the lower "away" temp.

I have a dirt devil right now and it's terrible. It clogs every time I use it. I want a vacuum with good suction, that won't clog. Also it would be nice if it were lightweight and quiet, since I have a baby. I don't want to spend more than $150.00, any suggestions?

On our house extension which is our dining room we have recurring black mould appearing in the plaster and the emulsion painted wallpaper. There used to be a small patch in the top corner which seems to be getting worse and it now appears all the way down along the door frame. I had hoped that the installation of cavity wall insulation would have reduced possible condensation by keeping the inner wall warmer but it appears to have gotten worse. Any advice that will cure the problem will be appreciated.

And for a very small back yard what would also be good plants that dont have thorns and that are not deadly if eaten. My frineds dog like to come over and eat anything in sight so if he tries to eat the plants i dont want him dead and there is also small children around on occasion.

My boss wants to put a notice board on the wall of the storage freezer where I work. The Freezer maintains temperatures of -20 degrees to keep food frozen. Because of this temperature, conventional sticky stuff just dries up and the item drops off: blu-tak, velcro backing sticky, sellotape etc. We can't pierce the wall because the freezer would not work. All ideas welcome.

I'm talking about the kind with the pump action. Lately it seems that the triggers on them stick and you can't spray more than one shot without stopping to unstick the trigger. It doesn't seem to matter what brand I haven't found any that work well. What's going on?
