Vacuum them with a brushed crevice tool. It works for mine.

Try canned air. It blows dust away and is made to be gentle (if used correctly) on objects cleaned with it. One word of advice, DO NOT SHAKE OR TURN THE CAN UPSIDE DOWN. This will cause the liquid air inside to come out as a frozen liquid which may damage the books.

you could takle a lightly damp dust rag and wipe down the book . right afterward . dry off quickly . it worked for me and my books are good still .
