I heard it was cheaper and more efficient to build with concrete block. I also talked to someone about building a wood home and he said it would cost 75,500 to build that way. Just wondering if it will be cheaper. ~ Thanks! ~

On sunday night i smelled what i thought was gas in my basment bathroom so i called the gas people. They came out and found a small leak in the laundry room where the water heater/furience is. Which they siad the fixed. I might ad that my laundry room and basment bathroom are right next to each other. So last night i smell the same strong gas smell in my bathroom so i called the gas man agian and they checked everything and all he found was a small leak in the dryer hose which he fixed, but he said the leak was so small it would not have been able to smell it. Then today i have smell the same thing 2 diff. times... and i have checked the rest of the house and its only in my bathroom. I dont know what else to do. Somebody told me it might be sewer gas but i have no clue they smell the same to me. I really dont want to blow up so if anyone has any advice that would be great.

I bought a 4x6 picture frame from Wal-Mart yesterday for my daughter and she just opened it today and it is really very nice but it has a picture of a young boy and some flowers in it. I am assuming that someone returned the frame to wal-mart and left the picture in it. I don't want to return the frame but I'd like to return the picture to the owner, it looks like it was professionally taken and expensive. How should I go about finding the owners?

Today I decided to audit my landlords on the amount they have been charging me for water. I went to city hall and had a print out of my account history. After reviewing what they have charged me and what was actually billed by the city, I have one month where they charged me double (A current bill and an "Arrear" past due bill, which I already paid them for) and another month (current) where they tried to do the same thing. How should I approach this? Should I just show my landlords the evidence and have him/her settle this by refunding the one double charged month? Or should I contact a certain agency to open an investigation? The amount that needs to be refunded is not much, only $24. However, according to town hall my landlords has 20 different properties that get city water. If they're doing this to me, I'm sure they're doing this to the other 19 properties. That's a nice chunk of change- $480, if the other properties were to get the same bill as I do, which I'm sure they don't.

There is a new shower cleaner that is out. You hang it on your shower head and everytime you get out of the shower you push a button and its supposed to clean your entire bathtub and shower walls. Is it worth the $20 at Walmart?

My friend was remolding his home and he gave me his old refridgerator, but it has been siting in his garage for a couple of months, and it smells. I've cleaned it VERY thoroughly with pinesol AND clorox clean-up, but I still cant get rid of the smell.

Does anybody know how to get the smell out of a previously used or old refridgerator? Any suggestions would be great, thanks.

How to keep a room clean....

I’m an extremely organized individual when I WANT TO BE. Key words here: “want to be”. I have a hard time keeping organized when I don’t like what I’m trying to keep up.

I hate my bedroom. It is SOOOOOOO boning. It has cream carpet, and cream walls. And a HIDEOUS bed frame. I don’t have any cash to decorate it but I want to clean it and make sure I keep it that way?

I keep trying to add stuff to it to make it better but I was thinking simplifying it may make it easier…

Any suggestions on simplifying my bedroom and keeping it CLEAN so I don’t have to clean it every week!?
