I have a newer home, (3 years old). 120 volt, w/ circiut breakers. In my master bedroom I had a fan and vacuum plugged into one outlet. I turned on the 12 AMP vac. and the circiut blew. I reset the circiut, and went back to cleaning. I now have 3 outlets in that room that have no power! I have checked the GFIs in both the master and guest bathroom, both are fine. I have also reset the circiut several times. WHAT THE HECK IS GOING ON?

Help... my son is going to be in trouble with his step-dad. We have those expensive, cloth, cellular mini blinds and there is a crease in it. He thinks my son leaned against it and it left a crease. He wants him to replace it but it was like $200 and I don't think it needs to be replaced. How would you get the crease or dent out of the blind? It is a pretty small crease only on one or two pleats and I don't want to cause any damage to the blind.

I cannot think of a name for our villa. We have a ying yang design in the bottom of the pool, so anything to do with this would be a bonus. Many many thanks.

I have a rental I'm fixing up a bit and I'm trying to decide between linoleum or tile for the bathroom. I don't think the renters will take care of it as it's in the bad side of town. So which is more durable? It is 9X10. What is easier to do on my own and which is more critical to be done properly. Prices?

Essentially I'm asking which is the better brand Hunter or Hampton Bay. I've always bought hunter. They are a little bit more expensive though because they are hunter. Is there much of any difference between hunter and Hampton bay????

I discovered some white powder on my pants and obviously I did not do something smart and went to smell it to see if it was some body powder.

Now I am thinking if there is the Anthrax bacteria. Is there other possibilities of white powder found on pants? BTW the pants are just washed and I do not live in developing countries.

I got a Julien McDonald Pillow Spray in a set (I think from Boots chemist) as a gift. It is in a clear bottle with a black design.

I am having a VERY old quilt repaired by a friends mom. My question is how much should I pay her for doing this? She has no idea what to charge and I don't know what I should pay her. Can anyone help with this?

I accidentally put a 100% silk, dry-clean only garment in the washing machine. Besides coming out horribly crinkled with minor mishaps to the embroidery, the color ran, so it has discoloration on certain spots. Is there any way to repair it?! Would bringing it to the dry-cleaner help?

I have a I think what is called a cornwellian cherry tree. It is an ornamental cherry, fruit does not taste well. It was planted about 5 years ago and it has made a steady decline over the past two years with leafing out less and less. I think it may be diseased , but I dont know about the different diseases or what caused it or how to treat it. The leaves look like they have some tiny black spots on them and their are small slit holes on them as well. I was wanting to have anybody tell me what I need to do to treat it.

Also do you think it would be a good idea to crop the top of the branches on it, to give it renewed vigor before spring starts?

Thanks for any help
