White powders found on pant?

Question

I discovered some white powder on my pants and obviously I did not do something smart and went to smell it to see if it was some body powder.

Now I am thinking if there is the Anthrax bacteria. Is there other possibilities of white powder found on pants? BTW the pants are just washed and I do not live in developing countries.

Manually washed by my family members and spinned in the washing machine. It seems that only my pants suffered this problem.... Anthrax? Doesn't sound too likely either.

When i use washing powder and don't dissolve it first in a whole tub full of water i often get soap/white powder residue on some clothes...although I'm not surprised u only got it on the pants...that's what always happens to me too...i guess some clothes just attract it. Try putting water and rubbing the white powder...it should become a bit slimy then you'll know that is was washing powder. hand wash the powder marks off then rewash the pants. Next time try filling the washing machine with water and dissolving the powder in the machine before putting any clothes in.

of course if it was anthrax you will be dead before you get to read this advice so you'll never have to worry about washing powder marks again. :-)

p.s: the washing liquid tends not to leave as many residue marks...

I don't know, do you usually was you're clothes in anthrax ? Are you paranoid? Don't you trust yourself?

usually this is laundry detergent maybe too much was used rinse them again it probably will come out

Were they rinsed properly?

its your fabric softner.. this happens more on darker clothes
