I accidentally put a 100% silk, dry-clean only garment in the washing machine. Besides coming out horribly crinkled with minor mishaps to the embroidery, the color ran, so it has discoloration on certain spots. Is there any way to repair it?! Would bringing it to the dry-cleaner help?

Call around your area, for the leading mid to high end dry cleaner. Tell them what happened, their my be some things that they can try. Their are no home remedies that will repair color loss or color shift. Good luck

Silk is very easy to dye , Use a color remover then dye it and it should look good as new.
