Tomatoes are grown in over 90% of the home gardens
BUT you need to be careful of variety IE A Dr Carolyn will grow about 8ft tall and about 4 ft Dia
A Rutgers will grow about 2ft tall and about 2ft dia
A Tom Thumb needs 6" dia

It's hard to beat tomatoes if you like them. You can grow a couple of tomato plants in cages, and be eating off them for weeks when harvest time rolls around. If any are left over, you can make a great home made salsa with them. Yummy!

Tomatos and/or pepper plants. These can also be kept in pots if you wish.
Cucumbers and anything else with a vine may overgrow your area.
