Philodendron is the easiest. Large shiny leaves and the vines grow really long! Very easy to care for in the house. Never had any type of bug problem with mine!!

SpiderPlants are some of the best indoor plants you can find. They are easy to grow, hard to kill, and continue to replicate. I have a batch that was started by my grandmother over 20 years ago. The best part is they have one of the highest oxygen conversion ratings of any plant, excluding trees. They actually clean the air by filtering it and then produce excessive amounts of fresh oxygen. Aloe plants are also nice and fairly easy to grow. Plus you can always use it when you get a cut.

There are no such critters. Even cactus are attacked by evil little munchers. Indoors you at least have a chance because the odds are more one on one. Outdoors, well the odds are in the bugs' favor. When they strike -- you being alert and watchfull -- can be ready for the invasion and hit 'em with an arsenal of garden poisons including soapy water.
