I throw a lot of parties, so i was wondering if anyone had any idea on anything out there that is cheap, reusable, and durable. Thank you for your answers. P.S. person with best answer is invited...hehe.

I have a 100lb service dog and I am having a new custom made leather harness built for him. I need to have ridged steel handle built to attach to the harness. It must be able to bear my weight (125lb) when I lean on the bar.

I was thinking of doing it myself but I don't know if it is possible. I would have to bend it 3 times and drill between 8 and 12 holes on either end of the metal.

If you look at the above picture you can see that the two ends must be straight down and consist of two of the bends. The left side will be a 90 degree bend and the next bend would allow the other side to rise 2 inches over 4.5 inches.

Is this possible to do at home with minimal tools and minimal experience? I have bent aluminium with proper tools before. I have a torch, stove and other basic tools at my disposal. I am resourceful and always up to a project.

Do I have to do this cold or can I heat the metal properly with either a torch or stove?

Hi there, unfortunately a member of my family (yes, its me) has had a very very bad case of wind today and the house absoleutly stinks!
I work from home and have people coming round in the morning so need to shift the stink. I am currently sat here freezing to death with both my french doors and kitchen door open trying to air the place but it still reeks. I dont want to use air freshener as it only makes another smell, it doesn't really clear the green acid mist in the air!
Please help!!!

I have a Thorn Olympic 20/35B Hot Water boiler, and with the UK battered by high winds today, the Pilot Light went out, I'm following the instructions to relight it but it won't relight. I can see the ignition attempting to relight the pilot light through the window, but no matter how long I keep the button pressed, it doesn't relight? Any suggestions? Also the instructions say I need to switch off the electricity to relight the Pilot Light. Is this correct? I have to reset all the clocks/timers in the house, when the electricity is switched off.

We've had a combi boiler installed. The back boiler is drained and disconnected from the central heating system, but cannot easily be removed. Can we use the stove as a log burner? If so, would the doors have to be open? (The stove is a Charnwood DX50iB)
