My family just moved into a trailer. We just discovered that our hot water heater was illegal, so is the housing unit that the heater is being stored. We want to know if anyone has a tankless titan water heater in their mobile home or trailer. If so is is safe and efficient.

We are looking at the electric model.

I want to take a fluorescent light fixture meant to be hard wired and add a plug to make it a plug in fixture. Bad idea? Okay?

I have added new plugs to appliances and lights and envision this to be similiar...?

Hi. I'd like to have tips on redecorating my room. I share it with my sister and I want to know what kind of stuff to put up if I like piano playing and karate. I don't like 'bright and floral' that much, also not 'black/gothic' either. Any tips?

I have noticed that this closet gets an odd smell in it. Sort of musty. It seems to permeate my clean linens and towels. Is there anything I can do to elimate this odor and keep everything smelling fresh. Thanks

My parents just sold their house and are trying to retire. They want something a bit smaller and I was trying to show them some nicer quality modulars that they can put $250- $300k into.

The only thing is that all they know about modulars is that they are junky poorly made doublewides. I've tried to show them websites and pictures, but the one's they've looked at in their small town of Clarion, Pa are still the crappy cheaper ones. They are totally turned off and everyone is telling them that they ARE bad and to stay away from them.

I need hard proof to counter all their friend's point of views. Anyone know of articles or shows that have covered modular homes that are credible. Anybody like CNN (they watch it religiously and would probably listen to them).

Please help!!! They are rushing and are looking at crappy 1970's houses for $300k! Its driving me crazy!!!!

My husband and i bought a new leather sofa set. It is so nice but it's very dark. I knew it was dark but i didn't know what to expect after we got it home. I like it but I want to know what other colors can i use to brighten it up. I have kind of light hardwood floors, beige walls and white trim, fireplace trimed in white. I have two mustard color vases on the fireplace. my set also includes a ottoman that I am using in place of a coffe table. I don't have end tables or lamps yet. Please help!

I want to put the exterior lights of my home (i.e. porch lights) on a timer. They are powered by wall switches inside my home. Ideally, I would like for the lights to come on at dusk and turn off at dawn. Does anyone have any suggestions on how I can do this?
