thanks in advance for any help given...

Facts: Greenhouse is 20’ x 60’ or 1,200 square feet, 12’ high.

Have tried three brand-new un-vented propane heaters. (two different models)

Symptoms: They light and burn, but about midnight are found to be out—perhaps after working about four hours. It seems the unit runs okay, but after a while the pilot begins to flickers and is eventually sucked out when starting on the next cycle. When try to relight the unit it won’t light until the next day after the door is opened to the greenhouse and it is aired out. A butane lighter (used to light charcoal grills) and the lighter with a flexible hose used by the technician wouldn’t light in the area either.

Thought it might be elevation problem (I live at 4,600’), but the last unit I bought is supposed to work to 5,500’. It seems to be some environmental problem.

I put a two-inch flexible hose from the outside to come in under the heater for fresh air…butane lighter lights in front of pipe...not in room. HELP!

I have a Singer Simple- and have changed the needle three times in the last three sewing sessions. I've tried adjusting the tension setting. Also, I'll sewing and then it will stop because the top string fell out of the eye of the needle. Also, sometimes when I'm done sewing and try to pull the clothing out- it's sort of stuck tight in the strings. The stiches look even- and it doesn't look like the bobbin is clogged. HELP!

I know some people that recommend just throwing the shirt away, that it isn't worth it. I don't want to sew the hole because then you will see the stitching. A patch might be okay if it is the same exact color maybe. How much do patches cost?

I got an old mahogany table with the top in light/golden colours with a stunning pattern on it, it almost looks like flames. However there are some scratches on it and I was thinking of using sandpaper to remove these and then re-paint it. But I'm uncertain how the flame effect was made and can I get the same effect and how?

I painted my walls pink (cherry soda to be exact :-)). I really wanted to put up black picture frames because it looks good against the pink wall but would that clash with the brown furniture?

I have an Amana dryer. Have had it for about 7 years. It started couple weeks ago when I took a load out as soon as it was done drying. I put a new load in and it just hummed. I let is sit for awhile (sometimes it'll have to sit around 2 hours, maybe to let it cool down?) and it hummed for a split second and started. It's been doing this for about a month. Well now, it is stopping in the middle of the drying cycle. Usually after about 20-30 minutes it'll stop and I have to wait for about an hour and it'll hum for a second and start back up. There also may be a smell radiating from the dryer. I'm not positive on that one because I just put in a new water heater and can't tell which one it's coming from. It's not a gas odor, but I can't really identify it. Thanks for any help.
