I know some people that recommend just throwing the shirt away, that it isn't worth it. I don't want to sew the hole because then you will see the stitching. A patch might be okay if it is the same exact color maybe. How much do patches cost?

I saw some websites with designs but I don't want designs on my shirt. These are just cheap tee shirts. I think the one girl is right about the scare crow or whatever. Just use them as rags for cleaner windshields and things. Does anyone else agree with her: they should be thrown out? Or is it economical at all or better for the environment in some way to try to fix it?

Whack off a piece of the tail and use that for a patch, my wife does. I don't think I have any shirts with tails anymore. I was brought up to think that was what a shirt tail was for.

use that shirt for yardwork, or working on the car, or for anything that you know you are going to get dirty, or just toss it in the trash.
