I prefer John Deere. They are more expensive, but quality is going to cost. Whether you are looking for a yard machine, or a farm tractor, they are hands down the best on the market. Massey Ferguson is next in line for farm tractors. Dixie choppers has a good commercial mower. I ran a New Holland for our church, but it was always needing work.

I think it all depends on what size you want. I tend to bleed green, but saw a visual test that was done at this site (www.tractorbynet.com), the test was to but someone in the bucket of two smaller compact tractors and then pictures taken from the drivers seat so you could see who had the best view when doing loader work. The Boomer (New Holland) had the best visibility overall due to the sloping hood, the Deere didn't do so well. This was just one point that the blogger was pointing out, serviceability, comfort, etc weren't addressed. If you have a close dealer and you like the New Holland by all means go for it!!
Call it a Christmas present for you!

NEW HOLLAND and John Deere are very good tractors NEW HOLLAND is made by CASE equipment. now it all depends on what u are going to be doing with the tactors if you are going to be doing light to moderite yard work then i would go with a NEW HOLLAND but on the other hand John Deere has some of greatest lawn and garden tractors to. Now if you are farming i would go with John Deere hands down they are so much better as far as handleing, smoothes and comfort of the ride. you dont feel all beat and banged up at the end of the day.
