I have question about extension cords!! I have two outdoor christmas ornaments that are electrical and each is plugged into very thick indoor extension cords. Then those two indoor cords are connected to a huge 80 foot outdoor cord. Well for the most part it is safe because I live in florida and the weather is almost always sunny. However it is to rain this weekend here and I am wondering if my cords are safe because they ultimately are plugged into the huge outdoor cord or am I going to burn my house down if I leave them like they are outside. Please help me before I either shock myself or something else happens. Is this safe or not? I love my christmas decorations but I have no idea about having them outside. Thank you for your help!!

I've pulled out the fireplace and enlarged the hole into an inglenook. Like it, and want to frame it with angled metal material, but want to make it look professional. Is there an idea out there to help?

what are the basic factors to be considered while installing a passive type solar water heater? How does one calculate the size of panels and storage tank required? How does one calculate the long term economic returns when installing such a system?

Mom bought me a new stove for Christmas, out of the blue. So let's just say not a lot of advanced planning went into this. So they dropped of the new stove and the delivery guys took one look at the stove and knew that it would be hard wired in. They moved it and it was.

Now ignoring the fact that I am dumb, and even if there had been an outlet it would probably have been the wrong kind anyway.

Is there any reason they hard wired stoves rather than using plugs?

These radios are for the kitchen, and can be mounted under the cabinet. All my appliances are black, and I can only find white or silver.

and living in a nice house in a good area, but you know that if anything were to go wrong you would not make the payments. Any solutions? The cost of houses is ridiculous these days, it's hard enough getting a house in any area let alone a nice one.

I'm redecorating my daughter's room. The colors are purple, hot pink and black. I'm wanting to make some inexpensive splatter paint pictures to hang. What kind of paper can I use? Or where can I get inexpensive canvas...is that what it's called? What kind of paint do I use? Can I use the same paint that I am using for the walls or? I'm on a budget so I need some suggestions or ideas on ways to decorate the walls as inexpensively as possible.

Hello all! This is a question for the older folks out there.
And you younger folks, too, if you know the answer.

So the other day I was lookin' through my cabinets at home, and I found this oldddd cleaner called Imperial Cleanswer and Spot remover.

It came in a Yellow and red square metal can... and I was wondering if anyone had seen it in stores today?

It's absolutely AMAZING stuff, and I need some more, because the can is almost done.

Anyone seen this product, have it, or know where I can get it?
