Is it safe to have ouside christmas lights plugged in when it rains? I don't want to blow up my house or shock the h*ll out of me.

I am using outdoor lights but both outdoor and indoor extension cords.

Keep the outlets away from water, wrap the connectors in plastic and hide inside the branches, make sure your plug ins are not directly sitting in a water build up such as a puddle and you should be fine.

yes, but if you are using indoor lights outside, i recommened covering where the plugs meet. Perhaps you can wrapp them in duck tape or put a plastic bag on the plugs. You dont want to go through all the work of putting them up, then run the risk of them shorting out.

yes it is safe use outside lights and outside heavy duty cords also wrap pugs in plastic baggies and tape shut get some small stakes for lights and hang cord on it so plugs aren't in water.

yes it is but if u r using inside ext. cords out side that may not be safe i dont know about that one but we alwasy have our christmas lights plugged in when it rains and nothing has happend to our house or any of us.

Yeah its OK but you should cover the connections with plastic bags and tape each end of the bag so water does not get into the connection.

Yes, as long as the plugs are not exposed to water. The most that would happen is that they would burn out.
